You might recognise the name Hungry Chef as Dan was one of our first clients several years ago (check out the original website we made for him here!).
Dan’s reputation as a Michelin-starred chef had grown since our first collaboration, and it was essential to reflect that in the brand refresh. We updated the logo to a sleek, contemporary design that balances elegance with professionalism, echoing the luxury dining experiences Dan creates. The new colour palette and typography are bold yet refined, aligning with the high-end nature of his services and creating visual consistency across digital platforms and marketing materials.
THE NEW BRAND LOOK:
Dan came to us with three clear requirements for his brand refresh: a dark, luxurious aesthetic, a gold marble texture to convey opulence, and a distinctive fork brand mark that would symbolise his culinary expertise. These elements were designed to reflect the elegance and sophistication of his Michelin-starred private dining experience.
To bring this vision to life, we crafted a rich, moody colour palette dominated by deep blacks and charcoals, setting the tone for a striking visual identity. We incorporated gold marble accents throughout the branding and website design, adding a layer of refinement that mirrors the exclusivity of Dan’s services.
The fork brand mark was a central focus of the design, not only as a symbol of his craft but also because Dan wanted to feature it on his aprons. This meant it needed to be sleek, iconic, and memorable, serving as both a logo and a personal signature. The result is a bold yet understated mark that perfectly represents the chef behind Hungry Chef.
Together, these brand elements create an immersive experience that exudes luxury and professionalism. Whether you’re exploring his website, seeing him in action at a private event, or viewing his social media, the brand consistently reflects the high calibre of Dan’s culinary expertise. Looking at the new Hungry Chef site and branding, we’re confident in saying we nailed the brief.
SOCIAL MEDIA:
As part of Dan’s brand refresh, we conducted a thorough audit of his existing social media presence to identify opportunities for improvement and consistency. We revamped his Instagram by creating a cohesive grid aesthetic that aligns with his luxurious new brand, incorporating dark tones and gold marble accents found across his website.
Custom templates were designed to ensure Dan can maintain a professional, polished look when posting independently. Additionally, we developed comprehensive posting guidelines, content ideas, and a full social media guide to help him keep his posts consistent and engaging.
To kick things off, we crafted new pinned posts that highlight his signature services and culinary expertise, giving his audience a clear picture of what Hungry Chef offers at a glance.
“Eb and Flo Digital does the best work around! They were super professional and worked so fast. I would 100% recommend them to my friends and highly recommend them for any work you will need in the future.”

We are so happy with all the final products we produced for Dan, and we’re so glad he is too.
This project marked an exciting opportunity to revisit a brand we had developed four years ago, having grown alongside Chef Dan and Hungry Chef. The brand refresh and website redevelopment allowed us to create an identity that accurately reflects the premium, Michelin-starred experience Chef Dan delivers.
We’re proud to have been part of this journey, from the original launch to this new chapter in Hungry Chef’s success.
This was a collaborative project: The fork brand mark was illustrated and designed by the fabulous Ruby Yee Design.
