Early Start Books wanted to develop a logo and branding that appealed not only to children but also to parents, grandparents, and anyone looking to inspire a child’s love for books.

The goal was to create a visual identity that conveyed both the premium nature of their service and the wonder of childhood, capturing the enchanting world of reading in a way that felt both luxurious and playful. 

We had an absolute blast bringing the Early Start Books brand to life! It was so much fun playing with dark, moody stars, shimmering gold accents, and whimsical illustrations to create a visual identity that feels both magical and premium. The process allowed us to experiment with textures and tones that evoke a sense of wonder while maintaining a sophisticated feel.

We absolutely love the concept we’ve crafted and are beyond excited to see it come to life as the brand launches—it’s truly been a joyful, creative journey from start to finish.

THE APPROACH:

The branding inspiration for Early Start Books was rooted in a sense of luxury combined with a dreamy, whimsical aesthetic. Our goal was to create an identity that felt magical yet accessible, offering a sense of wonder while maintaining a premium, high-quality look and feel.

We drew inspiration from dreamy stars, gold accents, and whimsical illustrations that would resonate with both parents and children. The color palette was carefully chosen to reflect the brand’s premium positioning—deep tones of purples, gold, and navy were selected to evoke a sense of elegance, while still being inviting and comforting for children and their families. The gold elements add a touch of sophistication and magic, while the navy and purple tones ground the design in a sense of calm and trust.

The logo was crafted with a mix of clean, modern typography and whimsical elements, such as stars and playful, hand-drawn illustrations that evoke the feeling of a child’s imagination. This unique combination ensures the logo feels both premium and approachable, making it perfect for a brand that aims to appeal to a wide range of customers, from parents to grandparents.

The design’s starry motif creates a sense of wonder, encouraging curiosity and exploration—traits that Early Start Books nurtures through its carefully curated book selections. The gold accents throughout the branding provide a touch of elegance, aligning with the brand’s premium offerings.
