Scope of work

All services are provided based on the agreed scope outlined in a proposal, contract, email agreement, or invoice.

Anything not explicitly included is considered out of scope and may require a separate quote.

Collaboration and communication

Our process is collaborative. Successful outcomes rely on clear and timely communication.

By engaging us, you agree to:

  • Provide feedback, content, and approvals within reasonable timeframes
  • Participate in the process and decision making
  • Communicate changes, delays, or concerns promptly
  • We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, conversions, revenue growth or specific performance outcomes.
  • Marketing and SEO results depend on many external factors beyond our control.

If a client becomes unresponsive or abandons a project for an extended period, we reserve the right to pause or close the project.

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing correct access credentials
  • Ensuring they have legal rights to use any content, images or materials supplied to us

Project pauses and abandonment

Delays in feedback, content or approvals may result in adjusted delivery dates.

  • If communication ceases for 30 days or more without notice:
  • The project may be paused
  • Timelines may be extended
  • Restart fees or revised quotes may apply

After extended inactivity, previously agreed pricing or timelines may no longer be valid.

We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, internet outages, government restrictions, platform outages or natural events.

Revisions and approvals

Any additional requests outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately and may affect timelines.

  • Revisions are limited to what is outlined in the agreed scope.
  • Approval at any stage indicates acceptance of work delivered to that point.
  • Late stage changes may require additional fees.

Third Party Tools and Integrations

We are not responsible for changes, outages, pricing adjustments, policy changes, or discontinued features by third party platforms used in your project.

Website hosting and security

We implement industry standard security practices at the time of development. However:

  • Ongoing security, plugin updates, hosting maintenance and backups are the responsibility of the website owner unless a maintenance agreement is in place.
  • We are not liable for third party breaches, hosting outages, plugin vulnerabilities, or hacking once a site has been handed over, unless covered by an active support agreement.
  • Clients are responsible for maintaining secure passwords and access credentials.

Usage of work & Intellectual Property

  • We may display completed work in our portfolio unless agreed otherwise.
  • Third party assets such as fonts, stock imagery or plugins remain subject to their original licenses.

Payments and fees

  • Invoices must be paid within the timeframe stated
  • Work may pause if payments are overdue
Deposits are non refundable unless stated otherwise
  • Payment plans are offered at our discretion
  • Ownership or handover of final deliverables may be withheld until full payment is received.

Client cancellation

Either party may terminate a project in writing. If the client cancels:

  • All completed work to date is payable.
  • Deposits remain non refundable.
  • Work completed but unpaid will be invoiced immediately.
