When Australia’s original pole studio approached us for a complete website overhaul, we knew we were working with something special. Operating since 2004, Bobbi’s Pole Studio had established itself as the gold standard for pole dancing in Australia and internationally.
What makes Bobbi’s truly exceptional is their commitment to authenticity. Their classes are taught by some of the world’s top Showgirls and Pole Dancers, providing students with professional-level instruction in an approachable, supportive environment.
The studio’s ethos revolves around making pole dancing accessible to everyone, regardless of background or experience. This unique blend of sensuality, inclusivity, and professional quality needed to shine through in every aspect of the new design.
The challenge? Their digital presence had fallen behind their reputation, with a website that was over a decade old.
ELEVATING THE DIGITAL EXPERIENCE
The existing brand already embraced a seductive boudoir aesthetic that we were excited to elevate. Our role wasn’t to reinvent their identity but to showcase it effectively in the digital space. Working with their existing branding elements, we created a website that honored their visual identity while significantly enhancing the user experience.
We embraced their bold color palette and distinctive typography, applying these elements thoughtfully throughout the site to maintain brand consistency. The design leverages their existing visual assets in a way that feels fresh and contemporary, while still immediately recognizable to their established community.
Beyond aesthetics, we focused intensely on user experience. With a diverse range of classes catering to everyone from complete beginners to professional dancers, clarity and ease of navigation were important. Special events like Birthday Parties and Hen’s Nights received dedicated sections with streamlined inquiry forms to boost these revenue streams.
We built intuitive pathways that guide visitors based on their experience level and class interests. The booking system was completely redesigned to minimize friction and maximize conversions, with clear calls to action throughout the journey.
Beyond the initial design and build, we’ve established an ongoing partnership for site maintenance, handling security updates, page edits, and general upkeep to ensure the digital experience remains as polished as the in-studio one.
THE RESULTS
The refreshed website launched to enthusiastic feedback from both the client and their community. The new design successfully honors Bobbi’s Pole Studio’s pioneering legacy while positioning them firmly in the present with a sophisticated new website.
