Pole Closet is a curated polewear brand founded by Jen, a passionate pole dancer who discovered the sport five years ago and never looked back. Jen created Pole Closet to give the pole community access to the world’s best polewear. The brand’s mission is simple: “Polewear for every style, every body, everywhere — curated by dancers, for dancers.”

OLD FRIENDS, NEW PROJECTS

Working with Jen felt like collaborating with a longtime friend (because, well, we are!). 

When Jen reached out to us, it was one of those beautiful full-circle moments that make this job so rewarding. We used to dance at the same studio years ago, and when she decided to launch her polewear brand, she asked around at her training spots (Bobbi’s Gold, The Golden Era, Bobbi’s Perth and Bobbi’s Sydney) and they all pointed her straight to us. It turns out we’ve accidentally become Sydney’s go-to web design studio for pole studios (and we’re not mad about it!).

Jen had a clear vision. She wanted to create a vibrant online space that celebrates polewear for every style, every body, everywhere. She wanted to build more than just another e-commerce site – she wanted to create a community hub that reflected the confidence, creativity, and inclusivity that pole dance embodies.

MORE THAN CLOTHES – IT’S A FEELING

Jen’s passion for the pole community and her eye for amazing polewear made this project incredibly fun to work on.  We leaned into bold, bright colors – electric pinks and vibrant greens – that burst off the screen. These shades break away from the typical muted e-commerce palette, and that’s exactly the point. Pole is about expression, confidence, and standing out, so the visual style needed to do the same. For the Shopify website, we focused on creating a shopping experience that feels more like browsing through a carefully curated closet. The product pages were designed to showcase each piece of polewear like the work of art it is. We incorporated multiple angles and detailed descriptions to help customers visualise how each piece will make them feel. Because let’s be honest – when you’re shopping for polewear, you’re not just buying clothes, you’re buying confidence.

The social media templates we created maintain the same vibrant energy while giving Jen the flexibility to showcase new arrivals, feature customer photos, and share pole inspiration. The templates are designed to be eye-catching in feeds while staying true to the brand’s confident, inclusive vibe.

WATCHING A VISION COME TO LIFE

The combination of carefully curated products and a website that truly represents the pole aesthetic creates an instant connection with customers. The bright, bold design stands out in a market often dominated by more traditional activewear brands.

The bright, confident design reflects exactly what Jen envisioned – a space that celebrates polewear as more than just clothing, but as a form of self-expression and confidence. The site successfully communicates the brand’s mission of providing “polewear for every style, every body, everywhere.”

It’s been amazing to watch an old dance friend turn her passion into a thriving business, and we’re excited to continue supporting Pole Closet as it grows.
