TIME FOR A PROPER REBUILD

This was a return collaboration with OneGuard, having worked together previously. They knew what they needed (which we always appreciate): a complete transformation that would position them properly in the market and support their continued growth into higher-level contracts.

OneGuard’s previous website was holding them back. The Wix platform was extremely limited, the content was minimal, and the site gave no indication of the calibre of work happening behind the scenes.

For a firm doing government-level cybersecurity assessments, that’s a big problem.

There was no clear explanation of services, no conversion pathways, and nothing that communicated the depth of expertise on the team. The site was actively undermining their credibility with potential enterprise and corporate clients.

FROM WIX TO WORDPRESS

The first step was moving from Wix to WordPress. This wasn’t just a platform preference. WordPress gave OneGuard better performance, stronger SEO capability, and the ability to manage and scale the site internally without being locked into restrictive platform limitations

We collaborated closely with their internal team to ensure the setup aligned with their cybersecurity requirements and hosting preferences, handing over a system they could confidently manage in-house.

MAKING CYBERSECURITY MAKE SENSE

One of the biggest challenges was translating highly technical cybersecurity services into content that worked for multiple audiences. Some of their clients are deeply informed buyers who know exactly what an IRAP assessment involves. Others are decision-makers who understand they need security but aren’t sure what questions to ask.

Working with our copywriter Sarah, we simplified complex concepts without losing depth. The content needed to build trust quickly for warm leads while still supporting detailed decision-making for technical stakeholders. We balanced accessibility with expertise, making sure the messaging never talked down to informed buyers while remaining clear enough for non-technical audiences.

We’re very happy with the results. The content positions OneGaurd as approachable experts. They are people you can trust to handle complex security challenges without making you feel lost in jargon.

DESIGNING AROUND THE USER JOURNEY

We restructured the entire site to improve clarity and guide users toward action. The previous site had scattered information with no clear user journey. The new structure consolidates services into a comprehensive overview page, introduces supporting sections like FAQs and process breakdowns, and creates multiple clear conversion pathways depending on what the user needs.

One key addition was a dedicated “Get Help with an Incident” page. Cybersecurity incidents are time-sensitive, and potential clients need to know they can reach someone immediately. This page positions OneGuard as a responsive, trusted partner who’s ready to act when it matters most.

Every page is designed with a clear purpose, whether that’s educating, building trust, or moving someone toward contact.

BRAND AND VISUAL IDENTITY

Cybersecurity websites tend to look one of two ways: overly corporate and sterile, or so tech-heavy they feel unapproachable. We wanted OneGuard to stand out while still maintaining the professionalism expected in government and enterprise work.

We retained their core blue brand colour but evolved the visual identity to feel more modern and distinctive. We introduced new typography for a stronger, more recognisable presence, expanded the colour palette to add depth and flexibility, and designed subtle digital and pixel-inspired visual elements that nod to the cybersecurity space without being heavy-handed.

We also incorporated video and motion elements to elevate the overall experience and used Canberra-based imagery to ground the brand locally while reinforcing their national reach.

In the end the website feels polished, professional, and quietly confident, which is exactly the tone a cybersecurity firm should strike.

SHOWCASING THE TEAM BEHIND THE WORK

A major priority was highlighting the strength of the people behind OneGuard. In industries like cybersecurity, credibility comes from expertise, and expertise comes from people.

We introduced a dedicated team section and highlighted founder Dean White, whose reputation as a highly respected IRAP assessor and trainer is one of OneGuard’s biggest assets. Rather than relying on heavy visual clutter or aggressive sales tactics, we reinforced trust through structure, tone, and clarity.

A TRANSFORMATION THAT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF

We’re proud of this one and collaborating with the OneGuard team again made it especially rewarding.

This project was a complete transformation. The website evolved from a dated, underperforming Wix site to a strategic digital platform that reflects the calibre of OneGuard’s work.

The result is a clean, modern website that reflects the calibre of their work while remaining accessible, practical, and built for long-term growth. It’s a platform built not just for where OneGuard is today, but for where they’re going next.
