A SPACE FOR HEALING
Working closely with founder Amber Rules, we designed a website that feels safe and welcoming for anyone seeking support. As an outpatient counselling service in Sydney’s Inner West, Sydney Addictions Recovery provides professional guidance to individuals and families navigating the challenges of alcohol, drugs, gambling, and other related difficulties. Our mission was to create a website that reflects their compassionate, expert care.
The project was about more than just creating a website – it was about building an environment where people feel understood, encouraged, and supported. We focused on clear layouts and messaging that highlight the counsellors’ expertise and make it easy for visitors to find the right fit. Every page was carefully structured to help patients and family members explore services, get to know the team, and feel confident in taking the next step towards recovery.
To balance the seriousness of the topic with an inviting atmosphere, we incorporated bright, abstract imagery that feels warm and hopeful. This was paired with a calm, easy-to-navigate design that prioritises clarity and accessibility.
The new website has been met with great feedback from everyone involved – clients, families, and the Sydney Addictions Recovery team. More than just a website, it’s a platform that makes it easier for people to connect with compassionate support when they need it most.
